Plusfile was founded in Cambridge, England in 1984.

From humble beginnings Plusfile began publishing diaries and notelets in 1984, in-house manufacturing soon followed. During the early 1990’s the company moved to the same Cambridge location that exists today. Plusfile is now available from companies located on four continents.

Cambridge has a long and enduring history with printing and note taking, stretching back hundreds of years.

The Cambridge University Press established in 1534, is the oldest publishing and printing company in the world.

The University of Cambridge has stimulated minds of many famous notebook users since it was established in 1209. 61 Nobel Prizes have been awarded to Graduates, the most of any unversitry on the world. A further 88 Nobel Prizes have been awarded to affiliates of the university.

From Charles Darwin to Stephen Hawking, Isaac Newton to William Wordsworth; Cambridge alumni have long been ardent note takers.

Ballograf Swedish Pen

Ballograf began production in a Gothenburg garage in 1945 and today can boast to be Sweden’s only pen manufacturers.

Through the years they have continuously developed and improved their products, so it is with a clear conscience, they provide a lifetime warranty on every pen that leaves their factory.

They work with carefully selected materials to ensure that their pens keep their promise and they have received awards for their elaborate design.

Ballograf pens are currently sold successfully in Japan, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Austria, the USA and Australia.

They manufacture over 4 million ballpoint pens and mechanical pencils every year.

 

Environmental Protection

All Plusfile Diaries and Notebooks use ecological paper from sustainable forests.

High quality papers are sourced from paper mills promoting sources if sustainable forests using cleaning energy, without the use of harmful chemicals such as chlorine.

A new tree is planted for every tree felled.

Plusfile Notebooks and Diaries are also REACH Compliant. A stringent European Community Regulation on chemicals and their use.
